The International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival will be held at Chengdu from September 11th to 20th by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. There will be 8 exhibition activities of intangible cultural heritage, such as the exhibition of Chinese traditional handicrafts, the international traditional handicrafts, and the cultural industry corridor of the Zang, Qiang and Yi nationalities.
The painting techniques of Chu State Lacquers of Jingzhou was included in the third batch of the national intangible cultural heritage list in the year of 2011, and this time it is the only intangible cultural heritage project on behalf of Hubei Province to take part in the festival.
