On February 17, the first phase of the construction of Kuan Kung Cultural Park, a key cultural tourism project in Jingzhou, invested by Hubei Western Area Eco-cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as ECOTIC), was officially started. It is understood that 2 billion Yuan will be invested in the early start of first phase of Kuan Kung Cultural Park construction, "Kuan Kung Yi Park", which presents a vivid picture of the righteous life of Kuan Kung in different ways with a theme of "righteousness" will be constructed on a north-south central axis of 600 meters long. In accordance with the project plan, "Kuan Kung Yi Park" is expected to take shape by the time during the next Spring Festival.

According to information, Kuan Kung Cultural Park is a major project orchestrated by ECOTIC with a purpose of supporting the Waist Strengthening Project in the fields of cultural tourism in Jingzhou. In order to promote the development of "Five Rings-Five Colors 5A Attractions" in Jingzhou ancient city, elaborate a "Romance Street of Chu-Han Charm" in the east of the city, magnificently construct "Phoenix Coming" Welcoming Double Park at the east gate, represent originally dragon boat race of a thousand years ago, and revive "Potency of San-Chu", the project integrates Chinese outstanding traditional cultural into construction of new urbanization, marked by "Kuan Kung Memorial Statue" that designed and produced by Mr. Han Meilin, a famous art master, led by "Kuan Kung Yi Park", and with characteristics of 7-morality communities as "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, faith, loyalty and courage", to eventually form a twins pattern consisting of a "historical city with Chu charm" and a "new city with Kuan Kung Culture" which will enhance each other's beauty. Once the project completed, a comprehensive theme commercial cultural tourism project will be established involving cultural tourism, recreation and leisure, folk custom shows, catering, shopping, accommodation and cultural exchange, and will become a new highlight and landmark in Jingzhou urban construction and cultural tourism.
