The total operating time of the world's first model 3000 vehicle fracturing equipment in Chongqing Fuling national shale gas demonstration area has reached more than 500 hours, which meets the construction requirements of shale gas fracturing of “continuous construction, large load, long time”, senior expert of Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., fracturing equipment chief engineer of SJ Petroleum Machinery Co., SINOPEC Wu Hanchuan told reporters yesterday. This has marked the self-developed SJ equipment has successfully broken the bottleneck of shale gas technology, providing a solid engineering equipment support for the Chinese shale gas exploration and development.
Shale gas is an important unconventional natural gas resource mined from shale, and is becoming a "new favorite" stirring the world energy market. On November 28th, 2012, the first shale gas well in China which achieved mass and commercial production was born in Chongqing Fuling Jiaoshiba. The SJ-developed model 2500 fracturing truck undertook its mining operation. As of yesterday, this well had worked stably for 566 days.
The key technology supporting shale gas development is staged fracturing. At the beginning of this century, SJ had accumulated more than 20 years of fracturing equipment technology, and had started the study of large fracturing equipment around shale gas mining, which had buried the first stone for China's shale gas exploration and development. Since 2011, a group of self-developed SJ large-scale fracturing trucks and drilling equipment have been successively used for shale gas mining in the mountainous area of Southwest china.
After our commercial shale gas mining had gained a good beginning, SJ technical staff made persistent efforts to improve technical R & D. Last March, SJ finally managed to independently develop the world's first model 3000 fracturing truck, which reached the world’s leading level of fracturing equipment.
In the Fuling shale gas mining, 10 sets of "SJ made" model 3000 fracturing trucks display their skills to the full. The large volume of fracturing fluid is injected into the well bottom. Squeeze palisades like squeezing a sponge to let palisades fragment and let oil and gas release. At present, the fracturing operation has successfully completed in 28 large shale gas horizontal well. This work efficiency is generally higher than fracturing truck’s by more than 20%. The life of wearing parts is increased by more than 20%.
SJ has designed more than 80 sets of development equipment, such as stepping interwell moving device, the wheel-rail drilling rigs, ZJ50D and ZJ70D drilling rigs, for Fuling shale gas exploration and development, which accounted for 90% of the total equipment in this region.
On March 24th, Sinopec announced that the Fuling shale gas field had been put into commercial production in advance, and planned to build the shale gas field into the first domestic annual production capacity of 10 billion cubic meters in 2017. This field will be equivalent to a 10 million ton level large-scale oil field. The next step is that the large-scale fracturing engineering equipment cluster control, the fracturing operation data cloud storage and other technology designed by SJ for Fuling shale gas field will be gradually put into field application, ensuring the development of shale gas become safer, more efficient, economic and environment-friendly.
