September 30, 2014 was the first Memorial Day of Revolutionary Martyrs. At the Cemetery of Martyrs in Shashi, at nine o’clock a.m., Shashi District of Jingzhou held the ceremony of sending flower baskets to the monuments in honor of revolutionary martyrs. Those who participated in the sacrifice ceremony were: four major leaders from Jingzhou and Shashi District, officers and soldiers stationing in Jingzhou, policemen, representatives of retired soldiers, representatives of martyr families, representatives of students and people from all walks of life. All the people present paid tribute to revolutionary martyrs, reviewed the history of revolution, inherited martyrs’ willing, and decided to make more contributions to the prosperity of Jingzhou.
