The 12th China International Agricultural Commodity Fair concluded successfully in Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center on Oct 28th, Jingzhou participated the fair as the only representative from aquatic industry in Hubei province. 16 Jingzhou enterprises participated the fair showing about 300 kinds of fresh aquatic food and processing aquatic food, the spot transaction volume reaches 3.67 million yuan and signed the agreements of intention of investment 1.56 billion yuan.



Themed on “Eco-Jingzhou and City of Freshwater Fishery”, based on demonstrate the “Quality goods and famous brands” as the main line, Jingzhou centralized on showing 20 series and 300 types of products from 16 aquatic product processing enterprises, and the leading brands are Honghu live fresh water crab, Jingjiang ricefield eel, Luxun Lake turtle, which fully demonstrate the new image of “The No.1 City of Freshwater Fishery in China”.



In this Agricultural Commodity Fair, Jingzhou has 16 aquatic product brands won the gold medal, in which the Honghu live fresh water crab, Jingjiang ricefield eel, Luxun Lake turtle, Chuxing fish cake and Honghu ECO Fishery drunk fish won 5 gold awards of the organizing committee. There are 11 agricultural products won the gold awards of the aquaculture exhibition area, which are Bangbang fish of Fishermen’s story brand from Hubei Da Ming Aquatic Science and Technology Co.Ltd, pickled lotus root of Honghu peasant family brand from Hubei Huagui Fishery Company, fish maw of Xiulin Bijia brand from Hubei Hao Wei Yuan Food Co.Ltd and so on.

In order to promote the Jingzhou freshwater product brand, Jingzhou city has host Fishery Expo in the year of 2010 and 2011. In 2012 and 2013, Jingzhou has taken part in the International Agricultural Commodity Fair in Beijing and Wuhan.
