The missing art of the Republic of China: Li Qingping Art and Literature Exhibition sponsored by Today Art Museum is to be held in Beijing during March 28th to April 6th. The exhibition, which presents the life and major representative works of the Jingzhou legendary female painter, is comprised of art and literature.
Xu Beihong, who praises Li Qingping greatly standing before her paintings, once prefaced for her paintings and drew a portrait of her. Liu Haisu has also said to her that it is only you and me that can be alluded to as the pioneers of the art circle. Li Qingping has been bestowed to the assistance and recognition from the predecessors such as Liu Haisu, Xu Beihong, Zhang Daqian, Qi Baishi etc.
It is believed by some critics that: in the subsequent confirmation and recognition of the art history, madam Li Qingping is the underestimated artist all the same.
