Xiangyang-Jingzhou-Yichang High-speed rail is the important project of the 13th Five-Year Plan for China and Hubei railway and also the first project of State Railway Administration in 2016. Hubei Provincial government and Jingzhou Municipal government set the project construction headquarters of Xiangyang-Jingzhou-Yichang High-speed rail successively in May this year. At present, Xiangyang-Jingzhou-Yichang High-speed rail has been listed into National medium and long term railway net plan and the 2016-2018 three-year-plan of Major Transport Infrastructure.
