From Oct,30th to 31th, the invesitgation delegation of CPPCC Hubei Provincial Committee visited Jingzhou, lead by Mr. Chen Tianhui, the vice-chairman of the CPPCC Hubei Provincial Committee, and conducted research on Chu cultural relics protection work.
The delegation visited King Chu chariots and horses’ scenic spots, the under-construction Huaxia historical and cultural technology park, the Jinan relic’s site of ancient Chu and Jingzhou Museum, understand the construction status of Xiongjia Tomb National Archaeological Site Park, the conservation planning of Ancient Capital Jinan City of Chu and Huaxia Hitorical and Cultural Technology Park in Jinan Cultural and Toursim District,the project of Eight Hundreds Years of Chu, Chu Palace, Yinchen Culture Town.
The delegation fully confirmed the cultural relics protection work of Jingzhou. The research group pointed out that Jingzhou has many cultural relis site of Chu, with features of rich cultural connotation, diversity of cultural heritage and distictive type of cultural relics. Cultural relics is a kind of non-renewable resource, Jingzhou city must uphold the leading position of government, insist the reform and innovation, and benefit the people’s livelihood, integrate the work of great relics protection with building powerful country in culture, the instistution construction of public culture service and cultural industy, make more contributions in protecting and promoting Chu culture.
Municipal Party secretary and director of Standing Committee of the NPC of Jingzhou City Yang Zhi, chairman of Jingzhou Municipal Committee of CPPCC Wang Shouwei, Members of Standing Committee, Secretary of Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection Jia Shisong, Vice-chairman of Jingzhou Municipal Committee of CPPCC Luo Qingyang, and Secretary-general of Jingzhou Municipal Committee of CPPCC Zhang Shaohua participated the research.
