2017 Hubei Folk Arts and Crafts Skills Competition concluded on November 19th, and the award ceremony was held in Jingzhou TV Station studio.
Zeng Xiangyang, Deputy Director and Member of Party Leadership Group of Hubei Human Resource and Social Security Department, Wang Shouwei, Chairman of Jingzhou CPPCC, Zhong Zhiqing, Members of Standing Committee of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government attended the event, and present the awards for the winners of 9 items, which respectively are wood carving, root carving, embroidery, paper cutting, shadow play, lacquer art, seal carving, pyrograph and engraving.
It is learnt this is the first time that Hubei province hold folk arts and skills contest, about 200 descendants of folk arts and skills from 17 cities and states participated the contest. A large great number of folk arts descendants presented with most fine craftsmanship, best skills and sincerity, promoting the succession and development of folk culture and arts in Hubei.
