In 2017, the export of Jingzhou amounted to USD 1.218 billion,ranking No.5 in the whole province; the export increased 23.9% compared with thatof the previous year, ranking No. 2 in the whole province and No. 1 among allcities of the province, 6.8 percentage points higher than the average level ofthe whole province. Last year, another 17 enterprises in Jingzhou city wentaboard and tapped the international market; within two years, enterprises with actualexport achievements reached 195, hitting a new record in the history. Now,Jingzhou enterprises have explored the overseas markets of Europe, America, andAsia and its foreign trade “friend circle” has been steadily expanded.
Optimizing Export Structure, IndustrialUpgrading Obtaining Initial Result
Last year, the exports structure of Jingzhou city was optimized,being right the portrayal of local industrial adjustment, transformation, andupgrading.
In the recent years, Jingzhou City has made great efforts toadjust industrial structure, vigorously introduced emerging industries such aselectronic information, and promoted the upgrading of traditional industriessuch as equipment manufacturing by focusing on industrial quality so as toeffectively improve the industrial and economic power of the city.
The data of export embodies the adjustment of interior industry.Director Wei Jun of the Foreign Trade Department of Municipal Bureau ofCommerce introduced that, for a long term, thechemical exported product of Jingzhou city accounted for more than55% and this data dropped to 52% in last year. At the same time, under thesevere situation of the overall environment, the export of mechanical andelectrical products, mainly the automotive parts is increasing rather thandropping with an increase of 53.2%. On September 29th, 2017, the merger of Hubei SanondaCo., Ltd. and ADAMA Agricultural Solutions Ltd. was completed. The newdirectors and management team of the corporation were released to the public,which marked that the merger of the two enterprises had obtained great success.It indicates the strong power of the chemical industry of Jingzhou City. The electromechanical industry grows rapidly. Enterprisesrepresenting the high level of local machinery manufacturing such as Henglongparticipated in the 18th China International Machinery &Electronic Products Fair on September 20th, 2017 to exhibit theirproducts, which grabbed an extensive attention from the visitors.
In 2017, the export of the mechanical and electrical products inthe city valued USD 350 million, an increase of 53.2% year on year, rankingfirst in the province.
Last year, the patent of HuaxunChina Technology (Hubei) Co.,Ltd, “microwave frequency conversion circuit and microwave converter”, obtainedthe Chinese patent gold award in the 19th China Patent Award Reviewand thus has become one of two enterprises in the province that got this honor.Now, this patent product has already explored the high-end market of Europe andAmerica.
In recent years, Jingzhou has greatly introduced electronicinformation enterprises such as HuaxunChina and W-OLF PHOTOELECTRIC. With theproduction of these new settled enterprises, the export of new emergingindustries has become the new highlight of the city’s export in last year.

By November of 2017, the processing trade of Jingzhou City hadamounted to USD 75 million, an increase of 69% year on year. It indicates that thecompetitiveness of the product quality, manufacturing technique, andmanufacturing level is strong and now the enterprise are striding to theinternational market with their products.
