The first session of The First Jing-chu Cultural Art Festival Committee was hold. In the morning of March 2nd, the member of Jingzhou CPC standing committee, as well as the minister of publicity department of Jingzhou CPC committee Wu Chaoan requested that ,we should pay high attention to the cultural art festival, and make fully preparations to build a art gala which is safety, high efficiency and splendid.

Wu Chaoan make an emphasis that holding art festival is an important measure to promote the development and prosperity of cultural undertakings, is of highly important to upgrade the publicity cultural service level, and a good opportunity for the publicity of city image. The related departments should fully realize the significance of the art festival, focus on the preliminary work related to the script writing, exhibition, stadium construction, marketing and logistic service, be aware of the responsibilities and refinement of the work to ensure the success of the art festival.

Deputy Mayor Sun Yuqiu hosted the meeting. It is known that the First Jing-chu Cultural Art Festival will be hold from June 9th to 19th . The overall activity including opening and closing ceremony, as well as the display of original play, the exhibition of Hubei Provincial Best Play, the seminars for Jing-chu Culture, the exhibition for works of fine arts, calligraphy and photography, the serial exhibition of intangible cultural heritage projects, the display of Jing-chu Cultural Relics, Jingzhou Cultural and Tourism Industry Forum, the first Chinese Poet Festival,  Jingzhou Station of 2018 Chinese Dragon-boat Championships, Jing-chu Food Festival and so on.
