On thismorning (April 3rd), Party Day Activity themed with “sacrificingrevolutionary martyrs in Qingming Festival by staying true to the original aspiration”of Jingzhou Municipal government departments was held in Jingzhou MunicipalMartyrs Cemetery.
Secretary YangZhi of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee, also the Director of the StandingCommittee of Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress, Chairman Wang Shouwei ofJingzhou Municipal Committee of CPPCC, Vice Secretary Zhou Jing of JingzhouMunicipal Party Committee, also the Secretary of Jingzhou Municipal Politicaland Legal Committee, municipal leaders including Jia Shisong, Wu Chaoan, ZengQingzhu, Zhong Zhiqing, Duan Changlin, Jiang Hong, Yuan Defang, and more than2,000 Party members from municipal government departments participated in thisactivity.
At 9:00 am, 16public security officers lifted 8 baskets of flowers, slowly walking towardsthe monument of revolutionary martyrs, and put them down before the monument.Later, all those present were standing in silent tribute.
Under the brightParty flag, Secretary Yang Zhi of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee led allother people to re-take the oath for joining the Chinese Communist Party.
Vice SecretaryZhou Jing of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee led all other people to learnthe Party Constitution of the thirdarticle of the first chapter of the Obligationsof Party Members.
Then, more than2,000 Party members from municipal government departments were divided intoeight squares to recite poems including Cherishthe Memory of Revolutionary Martyrs,Qingming Festival· SacrificingRevolutionary Martyrs, Missing theRemote Place, and Immortal on thestage to sincerely cherish the memory of revolutionary martyrs who sacrificedthemselves to help realize the national independence, people liberation,national prosperity and strength, and people's happiness.
