There was agood news from the 15th Hubei Provincial Sports Games that Jingzhou athlete wona silver medal in junior martial arts and free fighting competition .

The juniormartial arts and free fighting competition of the 15th Hubei Provincial Sports Games was hold from June 22 to June 24 in Daye sports park in Huangshi, Hubei province.  There are 12 levels in the free fighting competition. Jingzhou has sent 5 athletes to take part in Men’s 48Kg,52Kg,56Kg,60Kg and 65Kgcompetition respectively.

In Men’s 52Kg competition, Cheng Honghao, astudent from No.1 Middle School of Shashi, won a silver medal by beating the opponent Xiao Bingbing from Huangshi city by the score of 2-0. In Men’s 48Kg competition, Yang Yunpeng, also student from No.1 Middle School of Shashi, won the fifth place by beating LvYuehan from Wuhan city by the score of 2-0.

It is known that the martial arts and free fighting projects were first added as competition event in Hubei Provincial Sports Games and it is the first time Jingzhou sent delegation to participate in the competition.
