Jingzhou Issuing Ten Preferential Policies to Attract Settlement &Startup: Handwork DIY Reflecting the Dream of Startup

July 1st, I will introduce a university student of the generation of 95s, Aoli Liu, whoopens a handwork DIY store with her friends. Lets go to listen to her story of starting business.

At the site, Aoli Liu, sitting at the front of reporter and performing handcrafttraining for kids, is 22 years old. She is graduated from Hubei College ofChinese Medicine. She has been fond of handwork since childhood and also participated in a lot of relevant activities when studying at the College. Aftergraduation, she decided to open a handwork DIY workshop together with herfriends.

Once thegoal was set, Aoli Liu came to Chengdu, Xiamen, and Changsha to have investigationand trainings. Through nearly half-a-year preparation, Ingenuity Handwork DIY Workshop has started to be operated since.

At thestore, there were a wide variety of handmade articles, including Barbie doll, unusually-shapedlantern, and all kinds of flowers. These handmade articles with unique designwere made by Aoli Liu and her friends.

Each handmade article is unique owing to the own thoughts and reflections ofproducers. Whats moreimportant is that, they can enjoy the happiness of doing it by their own duringthe process of manufacturing.

Aoli Liu was very busy in folding,tailoring, and pasting, which seems simple but not easy to do. Reporter tookthe chance to experience by his own. It took him ten minutes to fold a petal of a flower. It was said by Aoli Liu that, the inspiration of daily hand madearticles was originated from life while the process of transferring these thoughts into actual products was not easy at all. Take the article, “Plants VsZombies”, for example. It took her a week to finish it.

Besidesselling finished handmade articles, Aoli Liu has opened handcraft trainingcourses at the store as well.

The twokids, who were folding flowers at the store, were not old yet but they had donea great job. After a while, a carnation had nearly taken shape. In the making,there were smile on the face of these two little kids.

In thebeginning of startup, what Aoli Liu concerned most was the promotion andclients. But with the support of human resource administrations, she has obtainedgreat operation condition so far.

In order toretain talents to start business and work in Jingzhou, Jingzhou has issued Ten Preferential Policies. Among them, human resourceadministrations can grant the startup guaranteed loans of at most RMB 2 millionfor college graduates who establish small and micro business and give fiscally subsidized interest rate in accordance with regulations.

Each year, 50 project selecting from the start up projectsthat independently made by on-campus students and students who was graduated from college within five years in Jingzhou shall be granted with startup financialsupport of RMB 2 thousand to RMB 200 thousand. This year, the startup projectof Aoli Liu obtained RMB 80 thousand financial support from Hubei Province Department of Human Resources and Social Security. She plans to use thiscapital to open a branch store.
