From July 3^rd to 4^th,Jingzhou Environment Protection Centurial Activity 2018 walked into Jianli and Honghu. Chen Aiping, Secretary of Party Group of Standing Committee of Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress, Yang Shunhao, Deputy Director of Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress, and Fu Zhifeng, Vice Mayor of Jingzhou Municipal People’sGovernment attended this activity.

Chen Aiping and his party came to eighttowns, namely Futianshi Town, Maoshi Town, Zhuhe Town, and Bailuo Town ofJianli County and Xiaogang Management Zone, Shakou Town, Fengkou Town, and Fuchang Town of Honghu City, to perform investigations on the construction progress of township sewage treatment plants, the construction condition of supporting sewage collection network, and the operation condition of built sewage treatment plants. He discovered the problems that some township sewage treatment plants were still operated without regulations and the supporting construction of separate rain water and sewage system was not improved. He required local authoritiesto correct immediately.

It is known that, the theme of Jingzhou Environment Protection Centurial Activity 2018 is “to win the tough fight of pollution prevention and treatment and promote the high-quality development of Jingzhou”. In August, it will also join hands with the Intensive Interview Centurial Action of Hubei Provincial Environment Protection to promote a batch of positivemodels and expose a group of serious environment problems through the all-dimensional and multi-formula reports of new media. This October, Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress will conduct a special theme inquiry of the water environment treatment condition in Jingzhou.
