On the afternoon of August 25th, Cui Yonghui, Mayor of Jingzhou and Li Daopeng, Consultant at China Federationof Logistics&Purchasing Cold Chain Logistics Special Committee, had a meeting on promoting an all-round and in-depth cooperation and accelerating the development of Jingzhou’s logistics.
Cui Yonghui pointed out that, in the history, Jingzhou was once the regional center of China,but along with the rapid development of railway and highway in modern time, the geographic advantages of Jingzhou has been undermined. Since the launch of the“12th Five-Year Plan”, Jingzhou has forged ahead to intensify the construction of transportation. In the next three years, a large number of transportation infrastructures will be put into operation. In particular, along with accelerating development of the multimodal transport of Yangtze River Belt, Inner Mongolia-Jiangxi Railway which connects the north andthe south, the transportation condition of Jingzhou will be improved vastly. At present, Jingzhou has been grasping the opportunities to vigorously develop logistics industry. It is hoped that, with the help of experts, Jingzhou will find its position, give full play to superiority, and highlight priorities to realize the interactive development between logistics and other industries so as to boost Jinzhou’s high quality development.
Li Daopeng said that, logistics industry is a compound and aggregate type industry. The unique natural geographical condition and transportation foundation contributes to the development of Jinzhou’s logistics industry. He hoped that, Jingzhou sticks to the planning and guidance and reasonably arranges the leading development to bring in leading companies and integrate market to improve the quality. China Federation of Logistics&Purchasing will give a full play to the role of industrial association’s intelligent resource to boost the development of Jingzhou’s logistics industry.
Vice Mayor Xiang Bin was present at the meeting. Heads of Jingzhou Bureau of Transportation, Jingzhou Bureau of Agriculture, and Jingzhou Bureau ofTransport Management and Logistics introduced the current condition and planning of Jinzhou’s logistics industry.
