It was knownby reporter on November 24th that, since this year, Jingzhou Hi-techZone had tightly focused on the “No.1 Project” of investment attraction, andfrom January to November, it had signed 22 projects with an overall investmentof RMB 34.074 billion.
Among these 22signed projects, two key projects, with an investment of more than RMB 5billion each, four of over RMB 1 billion each, and nine of more than RMB 100million each. In total, there are fourteen industrial projects, two logisticsprojects, and two cultural tourism projects.
In particular,the signing and settlement of a batch of big and good projects such as CAU China(Jingzhou) Green City Project and Dajiang Superb Intelligent AgriculturalIndustry Park Project provides powerful support for the high-qualitydevelopment of Jingzhou Hi-tech Zone.
At the sametime, supported by “the Year of Remarkable Progress”, it has performed thesystem of leader contracting and project secretary responsibility so as toadvance the launch of projects. Up to now, eight projects, including HuayongBiotechnology, Huihai Environment-Friendly Feed, Kangmeng Pharmaceuticals,Great Biological Feed, Hubei Provincial Research Institute of Aquatic Industry,Yangtze University College of Technology & Engineering, Scientific CompanyAccelerator, and LNG Gas Distribution Station have been under construction andanother six projects will start to be constructed one after another by the endof this year.
As to talentintroduction, it has made great achievements in bringing in high-end talents.Academician Wu Mingzhu Workshop and Academician Xiang Zhonghuai Workshop havealready unveiled, while academician Yuan Longping, CAU China and JingzhouHi-tech Zone signed a tri-party agreement to co-build academician workshop, andZhu Jianqiang, a professor from Yangtze University, signed an agreement withMeihuaiqiao Rice Planting Cooperative to jointly set up workshop.
In Addition,institution-locality cooperation and college-locality cooperation have also madebreakthroughs. Jingzhou Food Research Institute of Southwest University hasbeen built. The establishment of Yangtze University Agricultural ScienceDemonstration Park and Yangtze University College of Technology &Engineering has been accelerated. State Key Laboratory of Animal GeneticEngineering Vaccine has been under construction in full swings. A scientificsupporting pattern of “three universities and three colleges” has beenbasically in place.
