On the morning of November 29th, Jingzhou Municipal Government hosted the meeting of supporting entity economy in the service of private enterprises and supervision of financial poverty alleviation. Zhong Zhiqing, Member of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee and ExecutiveVice Mayor of Jingzhou, emphasized to provide service to entity economy and private enterprises on a high political level so as to further solve problems for them; to make full efforts to help alleviate poverty and strive for accomplishing this political task, practically raise the household lending rates, and completely carry out the Party's policy of enriching the people and policies of poverty alleviation; to highlight annual tasks including enhancing the resolution of non-performing loans, intensifying companies’ direct financing, strengthening government’s credibility, and credit expansion and supervision, and ensure no loan withdrawal or suspension so as to fulfill the annual target tasks with great success.

 Itis said that, from January to October of this year, the total amount of deposits and loans in Jingzhou’s banking sector kept growing and by the end of November, savings deposit balance in RMB and foreign currencies in all items of financial institutions totaled RMB 316.5 billion, increasing RMB 25.4 billionand up 9.86 percent compared to the beginning of the year; and loan balance amounted to RMB 156.7 billion, increasing RMB 17.6 billion and up 17.13 percent compared to the beginning of the year. Non-performing loan reduced RMB467 million compared to the beginning of the year. According to the result by financial ecological environment monitoring and evaluation system of Hubei Province, in the third quarter of this year, the composite score of Jingzhou’s financial ecology environment ranked the first in Hubei Province.
