The freezingweather is getting colder every day. On the morning of December 8, volunteersof Jingzhou LoveZone Voluntary Charity Service Team and the reporter fromFocusing visited the rural welfare house at Lifu Town, Jingzhou District andbrought goods and the warmth of love to the elderly there in this cold winter.

This is thethird time for the LoveZone Voluntary Charity Service Team to come here andthey have brought some winter supplies and condolence money to the elderly withthe help of some caring enterprises during their last two visits.

Today, theycame specifically to visit 87-year-old lady Xiang Daozhen who has no childrenand accidentally had a comminuted fracture in her hip joint from falling down inthis year’s August. Knowing the situation, the volunteers brought some dailynecessities for her. Xiang was so happy to see so many people visiting and caringabout her, and expressed her feelings while holding the hand of the volunteers.

In thewelfare house, volunteers sat around the old lady Xiang, asked her questionssuch as her health condition, and also visited a bedridden 93-year-old old man.

Wu Qinle,leader of LoveZone Voluntary Charity Service Team, said that the intention of creatingthis platform is to get more warm-hearted people involved in the activities ofcaring and respecting the elderly so as to provide more love for the disadvantagedgroups.
