Greening and upgrading project: RMB 66.2604 million of investment has been completed
In 2018, 18 landscaping construction projects were implemented by the municipal garden department, and now 12 projects have been completed, with an investment of RMB66.2604 million, accounting for 61.9 % of the planned investment(excluding PPP projects). The advanced concepts of sponge city, wetland protection,ecological restoration, greenway construction and four seasons flower city havebeen applied in the construction and management of urban landscaping, and the evaluation of the exhibitor invitation project and scheme for the Second Provincial Garden Expo has also been completed. Thenational garden city review has been completed by the expert group whocalled Jingzhou "a green city anda gardencity ".
Wall Demolition for Green Project: Demolition of 115 solid walls and a total length of 22,976 meters in the central urban area.
At the beginning of the year, it was planned to demolish 118 solid walls with a total length of 23,396 meters in the central urban area. At present, 115 walls and a total of 22,976 meters ofwall have been completed, with completion rates of 97.45 % and 98.20% respectively.
"Fighting against Non-compliance”Project: Dismantling more than 20 illegal constructions
Inaccordance with the principle of “high-level coordination, territorialmanagement and unification of powers and responsibilities", measures suchas classified investigation and cancellation of numbers within a specified timelimit have been taken to fully complete the target of rectifyingand improving 29illegal construction projects supervised by the Ministry of Housing andConstruction by the end of 2018. In order to prevent new illegal constructionspots, more than 20 illegal constructions were demolished this year, including6 roof sunshine houses with strong public complaints.
Deep cleaning project: 27new sanitation vehicles were added, with a machine sweep rate of more than 85 %
Campaigns such as “learning from theadvanced experience of central defenders” will be undertaken on the city's main roads, exploring a deep cleaningmethod combining mechanized cleaning, high-pressure washing, sprinkling waterto reduce dust, spraying humidification and manual cleaning. Thisyear, a total of 27 new sanitation vehicles have been added to the centralurban area, with a sweep rate of more than 85 %.
Outdoor Advertising Regulation Project: Dismantling more than 1,500 illegal outdoor advertisements
Through re-checking, inventoried and centralized rectification,more than 1,500 illegal outdooradvertisements (including one shop with multiple numbers) were demolished inthe urban area, of which 17 were large-scale outdoor billboards to further regulate outdoor advertisements.
Return Road to the People Project: Demolition of more than 60 roadkiosks
Demolition of more than 60 road kiosks, more than 500advertising garbage containers and more than 300 illegal billboards; Working with the traffic police, transportationmanagement, street lamps and other departments, as well as power,communication, water supply, gas supply and other operation and maintenanceenterprises to clean facilities (such aspower distribution cabinets, exchange boxes, check valves, etc.) that impedetraffic on more than 40 roads suchas Jiangjin Road and Beijing Road.
City Repair Project: Completed the maintenanceof 108,600 square meters of damaged road surface
Wehave completed the maintenance of 108,600 square meters of damaged roads(including 23,600 square meters of concrete roads, 18,600 square meters ofasphalt roads and 66,400 square meters of sidewalks), replaced 7,826 meters of lying stones, replaced 242 manholecovers (sets) for rain and sewage inspection, installed 226 anti-falling netsfor inspection wells and repaired 12 bridges.

Thelighting project is mainly to repair and supplement functional lightingfacilities and has now entered the bidding stage. In the demonstrationroad construction project, the design schemes of Jingbei Road, Garden Road and Chihu Road have been repeatedlydemonstrated and revised and have now beenunderevaluation.
Since thelaunch of “ten majorprojects”of urban management,the urbanlandscape and environment, and theliving quality of citizens have been greatly promoted. “Urban management”has gradually advancedto “urban governance".
