In March, Standard Profil, a global leading automotive sealing system manufacturer, settled in Jingzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. Within only seven months, it has completed the relocation ofthe whole factory from Langfang of Heibei Province to Jingzhou. Starting from 2019,Standard Profil will create a new sales pattern centering on Jingzhou andradiating to the entire national market.

At the site of the first phase of the project whereworkers were decorating the administrative office area, the main structure ofsupporting facilities such as recycle bin, fire-pump rooms, and water pool havebeen completed. Inside this 20,000-square-meter factory, workers were doing thefinal adjustment and test on equipment which was delivered from Langfang. AVolvo automobile sealing production line has already met the demands of massproduction.

Standard Profil entered into China in 2011 and settled inLangfang, Hebei Province. After several years of development, its products havecovered automotive assembly plants and supporting suppliers in China. But dueto the geographic restrictions, the product supply cost has become growing.After a few rounds of investigations, Jingzhou has become the top choice forthe new location of Standard Profil.

Since the commencement in May this year, constructionunits have provided sufficient construction equipment and work forces, arrangedconstruction schedules and worked overtime to ensure its smooth settlement. Inorder to save manpower and material resources for its development, electricpower department installs the power supply and distribution facilities as perits power demand in the next five years so as to supply electricity as soon aspossible.

The project construction is in full swing, and thecompany has kept receiving orders. After settling in Jingzhou Economic andTechnological Development Zone, it has already received orders from famousautomobile brands such as Dongfeng Renault and Geely Automobile. The strongsupport from Jingzhou Government also saves time for Standard Profil to accelerateproduction and deliver orders.

At present, theannual output of Standard Profil has reached 500,000 units and its maincustomers include BMW, Volvo, Geely, Audi, GM, and Renault. In 2019, it willalso set up R&D center within its Jingzhou factory so as to provide morepersonalized and customized R&D products to sealing system of Chinese cars.
