After more than fivemonths, Jingzhou will have another place for fun.

There are only about 5 months left for theproject of Jingzhou Gardening Expo. The construction has entered a crucialstage at present and all the work, including the 43 gardens, is being quicklypushed forward as scheduled. 

43 Gardens 

The Gardening Expo includes 17 cities and prefecture gardens, 10 countiesand district gardens as well as 16 gardening exhibitions.Different zones are also divided based on various themes, 

- The city and prefecture gardensmainly focus on "Chu charms" featured with "music charm, flowercharm, literature charm and custom charm”, which represent the connotations ofmusic rhyme, art of songs, characters and attire embroider in the state of Chu;

- The county and district gardenstake the Chu culture of being a land of fish and rice as the carrier to reflectthe natural charm based on its own characteristic; 

- The gardening exhibitionsincluding Sister City Garden and Master Garden focus on traditional crafts suchas bronze, jade, lacquerware and embroidery to create characteristic culturalnodes and show the art treasures and the craftsman of Chu by means of novelgardening concept and technology. 

At present, the survey and construction preparation of 43 gardens havebeen basically completed and the work of terrain modeling and seedling plantingare being carried on in some gardens.

Nodes of Various Landscapes

Apart from various gardens, the construction of landscape nodes inside arealso accelerated. 

- The main structure of landmark “Landscape Scroll” at the entrance to theNorth Gate has been completed, including 80% of the total rockwork. Theelectromechanical installation of the pump house is underway. The rockwork and greening are expected tobe completed by the end of this month. 

- The main venue with the designconcept of “Phoenix Bowing to the Sun” is conducting the main structurecasting. The casting of the structure in the southern zone as well as 85% ofthe casting in the north have been completed. The interior decorationproject will be completed by the end of July.

In addition, about 60% of the tree planting has been completed and manyseedlings have arrived on the site. It’s scheduled to plant 400 seedlings perday so that the planting will be completed by the end of April.
