The “Chu Phoenix” beginning to take shape, the construction of the main exhibition hall of the Garden Expo Park accelerated again

The 2nd Hubei ProvinceGarden Expo is to kick off in Jingzhou on September 28. The construction of theGarden Expo Park project in the Jinan Cultural Tourism Zone has entered thecountdown stage, with all work moving forward in a rapid and comprehensivemanner. Among them, the main exhibition hall of the Garden Expo Park with thedesign concept of “Red Phoenix in Morning Sun” will become a carrier andplatform for the display of the context and essence of Chu culture aftercompletion.

With aconstruction area of 16,500 square meters, the main exhibition hall of the 2ndHubei Province Garden Expo is divided into the South District and the NorthDistrict. According to the design, the main exhibition hall presents a curvedship, lowering from north to south. It is a single project with complexstructure and difficult construction. Phoenix, the totem for the Jingchuculture comes as the prototype of the main exhibition hall. From the aerialshots of the construction site, it can be clearly seen that the “Chu Phoenix”has begun to take shape, and the overall structure has been fully capped,presenting us a phoenix holding its head high and trying to fly. According tothe person in charge of the on-site construction, the main exhibition hall is undergoingthe secondary structure construction, as well as refined decoration such as thecurtain wall, ceiling, and exhibition arrangement.

If we say the external shape of the main exhibition hall presents the shapeof Chu culture, then the interior is to show its inner core. It is said that, underthe theme of “Yingdu Style in the Chu State during the Prime Age”, the pavilionis divided into four major exhibition halls, namely, the “Preface Hall”, the“Pioneering Work”, the “Prime Age” and “Carry on the Past and Open a Way forFuture”. By Combining traditional exhibitions with modern multimedia displaymeans, 60 pieces (sets) of cultural relics and a large number of multimediasoftware, graphics, art scenes, sculptures are integrated with each other tocreate a modern multimedia museum, showing the public the flourishing days ofthe Chu state with a history of 800 years.

Outside of the main exhibition hall, a piece of green field with a totalarea of more than 10,000 square meters, landscape and green sculptures willalso be built. The main structure of the “Chu Phoenix” will be integrated withthe public space and green space to form landscape art which is spectacular andunique. All projects will work together to perform functions of holdingactivities such as large-scale celebrations and cultural exhibitions at theappointed time.
