Thecrayfish is becoming an indispensable summer delicacy for tens of millions offamilies. According to data, within only three days after the opening of theTmall "June 18" shopping carnival, 10 million crayfishes made theirway into Chinese families. Currently China has a crayfish culture area of over10 million mu and an annual crayfish output of over 1 million tons, whileJingzhou's crayfish culture area and output account for one third of China'stotal crayfish culture area and output. Afterthe launch of the "MXX Program", Jingzhou's crayfish culture will be standardizedfrom its source through Alibaba's digital farm. While keeping products undercontrol, the program will build a traceability system to make Jingzhou'scrayfish chain information transparent. Besides, Alibaba will work with leadingenterprises, to offer guidance on crayfish culture, processing and sales, and sellJingzhou's crayfishes online to build Jingzhou's crayfish brands.

Thedevelopment of the crayfish industry has been inseparable from financial support.China's first crayfish industry fund, with a total scale of 500 million yuan, has also joined the "MXX Program" to support crayfish culture, purchase, processing, sales, transport, etc.

Jingzhouexported 100,000 crayfishes to Moscow during 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia lastJune. It was not only an attraction during the World Cup, but also boostedJingzhou's crayfish brands and built a supply chain for China's crayfish exportto Russia.
