Expo 2019 Beijing"Hubei Jingzhou Day" took place on July 6, with the theme "GreenLife, Beautiful Jingzhou". Comprising the Seminar on Sino-German Jingzhou Eco-demonstrationCity & Project Signing Ceremony, the Picture Show, "Jingzhou Gifts"and other activities, Expo 2019 Beijing "Jingzhou Day"showcased Jingzhou's new achievements in the reform and opening up and gardendevelopment, and became a unique highlight of Expo 2019 Beijing China.
A total contract mount of 10 billion yuan
At the Seminar on Sino-German Jingzhou Eco-demonstrationCity, 9 enterprises, including Yihai Kerry, KungFu Animation, Mehome Group andHubei Reborn, signed project cooperation agreements with some counties, citiesand districts of Jingzhou, with a total contract amount of 10 billion yuan.
The project with the largest contract amountis Yellow Peach Complex Industrial Park in Jiangling County. With an area ofsome 1,210 mu, it is a yellow peach deep processing industrial park engaged inyellow peach wine processing, yellow peach food production, refrigeration and logisticsdistribution. Agricultural tourism parks like Peach Blossom Manor and PeachBlossom Island (Castle), as well as Huaxia Folk Customs & CultureIndustrial Park will be constructed concurrently.
"Jingzhou Gifts"-Gifts for the world
As a highlight of "Hubei JingzhouDay", "Jingzhou Gifts" became a focus at Lawn Theatre of Expo 2019 Beijing. Thegraceful and impressive Jingchu folk dance and "Three Kingdoms" scenedrama attracted tens of thousands of tourists.
A wide variety of intangible cultural heritageitems and cultural & creative products like Hawk kite, shell carving and Chuembroidery, as well as Jingchu specialties like Gong'an beef and Honghu lotusseed juice, drew hosts of tourists.
In "Hubei Jingzhou Day", the "GreenDevelopment, Beautiful Jingzhou" Picture Show was held to showcase Jingzhou'snew achievements and look in ecological protection and green development inrecent years. Through diverse activities, Jingzhou displayed its unique elementsto the country and the world during Expo 2019 BeijingChina.
