The first batch of fabricatedpositive energy houses in China, which were developed and constructed undercooperation between Chinese and Germany sides, settle here and will officially makedebut in September.

It isunderstood that the fabricated positive energy house is an ecological and energy-savingbuilding which combines various passive energy-saving means such as naturalventilation, natural lighting, solar energy utilization and indoor heating, combinedwith high-efficiency energy-saving technology of building envelope structure.It can receive and store energy from nature only by virtue of building envelopestructure, energy-saving doors and windows, sunshade system and so on. Withvery small energy consumption, it can give warmth in winter and coolness insummer. It can save energy by 75% for lighting, energy by 50% for airconditioning in summer, energy by 60% for ground source pumps, with heatrecovery rate for fresh air system reaching 98%.

Accordingto Xu Zhendong, person in charge of the Garden Expo Park, the fabricatedpositive energy houses are mainly distributed in the Sino-German and Sino-FrenchEco-Park. The positive energy rooms in Sino-German Eco-Park, with building areaof 291.1 square meters, is divided into two floors, including wine tastingarea, catering area, technical exhibition area of positive energy rooms,multi-functional rooms and corridors; the positive energy houses in Sino-FrenchEco-Park, with a total floor covering an area of 85.6 square meters will bebuilt for coffee shop for tourists' leisure and catering.

Bothsets of positive energy houses use building materials such as energy-savingcurtain wall, solar photovoltaic tile, energy-saving lamp, new-material wall,super energy-saving window, and adopt advanced assembly construction technologyto achieve the goal of energy-saving, water-saving, land-saving,material-saving and time-saving. At present, the earthwork and terrain arrangement,as well as greening planting have been completed in Sino-Germany Eco-Park and Sino-FrenchEco-Park. The positive energy houses have all been capped, and have entered theinterior decoration stage.

It isreported that in March 2017, Jingzhou was officially appointed as "Sino-GermanLow Carbon Ecological Demonstration City", and in April 2018, it was againdesignated as "Sino-French Low Carbon Ecological Demonstration City",which became beautiful business cards in the construction of Jingzhou'secological culture. In this project of Garden Expo Park, the frontierenergy-saving demonstration buildings built in Sino-German and Sino-Frenchparks will also become an important model for cooperation in the field ofenergy conservation and environmental protection between China and other countries.
