Accordingto a source from the Office of the Leadership Group on Major ProjectConstruction under the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government, there were 246government investment projects in 2019, with a planned total investment of19.87446 billion yuan. A total investment of over 8.13353 billion yuan had beencompleted by late June, accounting for 41 percent of the planned total investment,up 8.6 percent or 2.39334 billion yuan year on year.

Inthe first half of 2019, key urban projects such as urban water environmenttreatment, the extension of Jingsha Boulevard, Yuhe Road, Airport Boulevard,Kaifang Boulevard and Fengming Boulevard commenced; key projects such asHongmen South Road, the Zhibangtou section of Eastern Ring Road, the southernsection of Chudou Boulevard, the Cenhe connection line of Shanshi-Gong'anHighway, the rerouting of State Highway 318, Huchenghe South Road, WenxingPavilion and Jingzhou Levee Slow Traffic System; projects such as Garden ExpoPark and Phase 3 of Jingxiang River Park outside Jiulongyuan Parking Lot willsoon come to an end; key supporting infrastructural projects of Garden ExpoPark such as Jingzhou Boulevard, Haizihu Road and Fuxing Boulevard areunderway.
