According to sources, Jingzhou has advanced hygieniccity building with a healthy environment gradually taking shape in Jingzhou. Currently5 counties and cities in Jingzhou are working on national hygienic city(county) building; 60 towns and townships have completed provincial hygienictown (township) building, accounting for 57 percent of all towns and townshipsin Jingzhou; and Jingzhou is advancing the healthy cell culture project. 7health theme parks and 14 health footpaths have been built in Jingzhou, layinga microscopic foundation for "healthy Jingzhou" building.

The 7 health theme parks newly built inJingzhou include Jingxiang Inland River Health Theme Park and Outland River HealthTheme Park in downtown Jingzhou, the Longyuan Lake and West Lake in Jiangling,Wanlian Park in Songzi, as well as Jiangtan Park and Citizen Park in Honghu.

The 14 health footpaths newly built inJingzhou include Jingxiang Inland River Health Footpath and Jingxiang OutlandRiver Health Footpath in downtown Jingzhou; Health Them Park Health Footpath, SouthLake Park Health Footpath and North Lake Park Health Footpath in Songzi; YuqiaoPark Health Footpath, Xiganqu (Hongxing Road-Chihu Road) Health Footpath and FanjiayuanPark Health Footpath in Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone;Chenjia Lake Health Footpath, Shandi Lake Health Footpath and Nanyue MountainHealth Footpath in Shishou; Binjiang Park Health Footpath and Linchang RiverWetland Park Health Footpath in downtown Jianli; Youjiang Road Health Footpathand Ring Road Health Footpath in Gong'an, etc.. 

Health theme parks, a key health education projectfor national hygienic city building, are generally independent open parks with convenientlocation, favorable natural conditions, beautiful environment and a large flowof people.
