The Second Hubei Province Garden Expo willopen in Jingzhou on September 28. The theme of this year's Garden Expo is"Splendid Jingchu, Ecological Garden Expo", which is intensively embodiedby the north gate as the main entrance of Jingzhou Garden Expo Park and itssurrounding landscape. At present, the north gate is undergoing sculptureinstallation, and the landscape in main entrance is expected to be fullyvisible this month.

The North Gate Square of Jingzhou Garden Expo Parkcovers an area of 10,000 square meters, enjoying great splendor and solemnity.As the reporters see at the construction site, the overall shape of the gate isabstracted from a soaring phoenix, with the main scenery of "Greeting Guestswith Etiquettes of Chu State" sculpture group on the axis. The sculpturegroup is composed of magnificent chariots and horses array led by "the EmpireDriving Six Horses", symbolizing the vast Jingchu land to welcome visitorsfrom all directions with the highest etiquette. As the first scene at theentrance, the north gate will show visitors the unique charm of Jingchuculture.

In addition to showing the culturalcharacteristics of Jingchu region, the north gate also embodies ecologicalcivilization. At the end of the axis of the entrance square, a landscape nodeof "High Mountain and Flowing Water" is set up by taking advantage ofthe terrain elevation difference. The main landscape is about 100 meters long,15 meters high and 40 meters deep. The sceneries like natural rocks, plants andwaterfalls comprehensively show the ink painting flavor of the mountains andrivers of Jingchu, creating a landscape atmosphere of "High Mountain andFlowing Water" in the entrance area to welcome guests. At present, work onstone piling, tree planting, mechanical and electrical installation has alreadybeen completed in this landscape. And the landscape is expected to be completedintegrally by the end of August. At that time, it will become the high point ofthe whole garden, as well as the first highlight when entering the garden.

Apart from the main entrance, further effortshave been being made to intensify the construction in the garden, and 44exhibition gardens have entered the stage of full closure and completion. Dividedinto blocks, the 6.1 km long main road in the park is being cleaned andblackened.
