The opening ceremony of San Juan del Río Garden, Garden Expo Park took place. Marcia Solórzano Gallego,Speaker of the Parliament and Inspector General of San Juan del Río, ledthe delegation to the ceremony. Zhou Jing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC JingzhouMunicipal Committee and Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the JingzhouMunicipal People's Congress, attended and addressed the ceremony, and cut theribbon for the garden.

On behalf of the mayor of San Juan del Río, Solórzano extended congratulations on the openingof the 2nd HubeiProvince (Jingzhou) Garden Expo. Mexico is an important window via which Chinaenters North America, said she, hoping that Jingzhou and San Juan del Río would fully exert the advantage to carry outin-depth exchanges and cooperation in fields such as economic trade, cultureand tourism, thus accomplishing common development.

Zhou welcomed the delegation. San Juan del Río Garden is a symbol of the friendship between Jingzhouand San Juan del Río, said she, believing that the two innovative cities wouldyield more fruitful results of friendship with the constant deepening ofexchanges, the constant enrichment of exchange content and the constant enhancementof mutual understanding.

On the morning of September 27, Zhou met thedelegation of San Juan delRío. During her stay in Jingzhou, Solórzano led the delegation in visitingautomotive parts manufacturers and chemical enterprises in Jingzhou Economic& Technological Development Zone (JETDZ), and talked with heads of relevantdepartments in JETDZ.
