After overviewing the human landscapes of itsfriendly country - Mexico,Pyramid of the Sun that represents thesplendid and ancient culture of Mexico is chosen to serve as the main bodystructure of the whole Mexico Garden, and Five-Hole Stone Bridge thatrepresents the sister-city San Juan City as its visiting generatrix, thus empoweringthe tourists to fully understand the exotic charm of Mexico while enjoyingtheir garden tour.
Upon entering the Korean Garden, the touristscan find that the unique and attractive landscape design is inspired by thefamous Gyeongpo Lake and the legend of five moons in Gyeongpo Lake in GangneungCity, South Korea. Guided by a "red ribbon", the tourists can strollthe five theme gardens of "Joyful Moon", "Tree-lined Moon","Tranquil Moon", "Missing Moon" and "ColorfulClouds Chasing The Moon " in turn, which brings the tourists to a foreignland, as if they were in the mountains and lakes of Gangneung City, SouthKorea, but when tourists look back suddenly, they would return to the vastexpanse of fertile lands of Jingzhou.

The Japanese Garden located on the side takes Oyakuen-a famous garden of Japan as the design blueprint, and its notion of"herb-medicine curing the body and thoughts of Zen purifying themind" as design concept.The garden borrows the design technique of"seeing big things through small ones" from the Japanese-stylegardening, and integrates water and stone to symbolize heaven and earth.Through the representative landscape elements of Japanese-style garden, the touristscan feel the essence of Japanese garden when visiting it.
Jingzhou City has been rated as Sino-GermanEco City and Sino-French Eco City successively, the low-carbon developmentconcept of which highly matches the theme of "Splendid Jingchu andEcological Garden Expo" of this Garden Expo Park. Therefore, thecooperation achievements and technologies in the field of low-carbon ecologybetween China and Germany have been fully displayed in the German Garden.
The German Garden covers an area of 1,600square meters and is positioned as minimalist exhibition garden in new Germanstyle. With Sino-German Ecological Biodome as the core of park, geometricpatterns of water drop, physical blocks and other elements are arranged andcombined to construct the landscape. Here, the tourists can also enjoy thetasty German food and beer.
Like the Sino-German Ecological Biodome, the Sino-FrenchEcological Biodome also adopts fabricated tech house technology to achieve theenergy supply of the building, thus reducing the building’s demand on externalenergy. The axis and symmetry are highlighted in design to create a landscapestructure with “crisscross” axis in the longitudinal and horizontal aspects.
There are a total of 45 exhibition gardens inthe Garden Expo Park, including 17 of prefecture-level city with "TheCharm of Chu State" as the theme, 11 of county-level city with "TheCultivation of Chu State" as the theme and 17 of garden work with"The Crafts of Chu State" as the theme. A characteristic culturalnode is createdaround the bronze, jade, lacquer, embroideryand other traditional crafts, and novel gardening concepts and techniques are adoptedto show the abundant natural resources and the spirit of craftsmen in the Jingchuland.
