At the workshop of Jingzhou MeihaoPrefabricated Housing Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the workers were processing a trussbefore a steel truss machine. According to Liu Pukun, vice manager of thecompany, the truss is used to connect Side A and B of a prefabricated compositeshear wall, and connect the cast-in-situ surface and prefabricated face of acomposite floor slab. Now it has entered the trial production stage.

With a total investment of nearly 500 millionyuan, the project commenced in March 2018, and will mainly manufacturedouble-sided composite wallboards, composite floor slabs, prefabricated stairs,bay windows and balconies. On the site, the reporter was most impressed by aforest of machines and equipment in the plant. The company introduced a fullautomatic production line from Germany to accomplish automatic mold placement, automaticmesh processing, automatic material concrete placement and automaticmaintenance.

While effectively reducing constructionquantities and reducing labor costs, Meihao prefabricated buildings can reducematerial waste, construction noise, dust pollution, construction waste andsewage discharge, and achieve the effects of energy conservation andenvironmental protection with work quality assured.

Characterized by good thermal insulationeffect, high shock strength, high safety, energy conservation and environmentalprotection, prefabricated buildings have become a key trend of future buildings.After going into operation, the three prefabricated unit lines of Meihao JingzhouPrefabricated Building Manufacturing Base can manufacture prefabricated unitsfor housing with a total floor area of 2 million square meters (equivalent to some100 33-story buildings annually), and achieve an annual output value of 8billion yuan and an annual pre-tax profit of 800 million yuan.
