The rebuildingconstruction site of "Four Good Rural Road" in Jianshan Village,Wangjiaqiao Town, Songzi is enormously busy. It has a total length of 4.26kilometers, with an aggregated investment of 1.02 million yuan.
TheConstruction Director Zhiming Ai introduces that about 40% of the total projectinvestment has been completed at present, and the hardening project of roadwidening is in progress with 1.5 kilometers completed.
We also needto manage, protect and operate the road in a good manner after the completionof building a high-quality "Four Good Rural Road". Several roadguards are using brooms and shovels to clean up and sweep out weeds along theroad from Wangjiaqiao to Mashui Highway.
In therecent years, Jingzhou City has advanced rural highway construction across theboard, combining it with beautiful rural construction and "Four Good RuralRoad" construction in an organic manner. At present, Jiangling County isactively building "National Rural Highway Demonstration County", and thenumber of Provincial Four Good Rural Road Demonstration County, Demonstration Villageand Town built by Jingzhou City ranks first in whole province. Up to now, thetotal mileage of rural highways in the whole city has reached 20,845kilometers, making asphalt cement road accessible in all towns andadministrative villages. The rural passenger traffic roads in the whole cityhave reached the standards comprehensively, and the goal of opening passengercars to traffic invillages throughout the city has been basically achieved.According to the plan, in the next three years of "the 13thFive-Year Plan", Jingzhou City will rebuild and expand 3,000 kilometers ofrural highways, with pavement width not less than 5.5m and subgrade width 6.5m,and the road rate of county highway, country highway and village highway willattain 100%, 100% and 95% respectively.

Under thiscircumstance, a batch of characteristic roads, poverty alleviation roads,industry roads, happiness roads and better-off roads are born at the rightmoment, and some "agritainment" and "country tour" arebooming rapidly.
