AVIC Agriculture was listed among the"top ten projects" in the tour observation and selection ofJingzhou's 2019 Q3 fixed assets investment projects. What are the highlights ofthis project? When will it go into production?

At the grain & oil processing andlogistics technology industry park of AVIC Agricultural Development (Hubei)Co., Ltd. (AVIC Agriculture) at Jiangling Economic Development Zone, 12white-blue grain warehouses lined up neatly. According to Fang Xianlin, Managerof the General Affairs Department of AVIC Agriculture, the first batch of grainwas warehoused here in October 2017.

To support the development of the grain &oil industry, Phase II and III came hot on the heels of Phase I. The logisticspark wharf (Phase II) broke ground in May 2018, the main works of the wharfhave been completed and auxiliary facilities are under construction.

Co-founded in September 2014 by AVIC InternationalGrain & Oil Trade Co., Ltd. and Hubei Hongkai Industry & TradeDevelopment Co., Ltd. (Hongkai), AVIC Agriculture is mainly engaged in grain& oil warehousing, trade, logistics and processing. "AVIC Grain &Oil" is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AVIC International under AVIC, one ofFortune Global 500 enterprises, as well as the "one main, twoauxiliaries" system of national policy-related grain collection andstorage; Hongkai is a key leading national agricultural industrialization enterprisefocusing on the production and deep processing of oil and rice. After its completion, the project will notonly cover Jianghan Plain, but also radiate Sichuan, Chongqing and otherwestern areas, and form a grain warehousing center and logistics technology industrypark. While undertaking the governmental task of grain collection and storage,it can provide warehousing services to proprietary grain grade enterprises andother agricultural product trade enterprises, and build a professional trademarket for agricultural products like grain, cotton and oil through adequatewarehousing capacity and auxiliary facilities.
