Ancient City Lighting Project of Jingzhou Scheduled to be Completed in November for a Dreamy Look

Yesterday, the journalist came to the East Gate in the ancientcity of Jingzhou. A large number of workers are working to push the cable lightsinstallment process for the lighting projects construction in scenic areas.

During the National Holiday, groups of tourists came to theancient city of Jingzhou every day, attracted by the amazing debut of the magicaland dazzling light show held around the Binyang Building. As further tests areto be conducted for the light show, the project has been temporarily shut down andrelevant upgrading constructions are in progress.

The nightscape lighting project of Jingzhou Ancient CityHistorical and Cultural Tourism Zone, which was funded by the Jingzhou TravelGroup, has a total length of 4.5 kilometers from the Xiaobei Gate to the EastGate and the Old South Gate, covering the area from the Yinbin Gate to the SouthJi Gate, the moat area, the Guangong Justice Park, Visitor Center, QuyuanSquare, Gold Phoenix Square, Nine Dragon Lake Theater and neighboring areas.

The lighting project of the ancient city is carried out insidethe city and also on the outskirts of Jingzhou, with a focus on the latter part.According to Wang Cheng, architect of the Engineering Department of theJingzhou Travel Group, the construction of the lighting project starts from theEast Gate section has been basically completed. The lighting projects covers watercurtain lights on the Nine Dragon Bridge, the Binyang Building light show, guardraillights and riverside lights along the moat, line lights on the city wall, aswell as the projection lights and tree lights. At present, the constructionfrom the East Gate to the Old South Gate section has begun. The entire lightingproject is scheduled to be completed in early November. The goal is to use high-tech methods to achievea dreamy ancient city look, beautiful moonlight casting on the ancient city withcolorful shadows that mirror the traces of history.
