Royal DSM (DSM) and Nenter & Co., Inc.(Nenter) struck a deal on September 26, to establish Yimante Health Ingredients(Jingzhou) Co., Ltd. (Yimante). The joint venture will be committed to buildingthe world's most advanced vitamin E production base. Jiang Weiming, Presidentof DSM China, spoke highly of Jingzhou during his recent visit to Jingzhou.

Founded in 1902, DSM is an internationaldietary supplement, chemical materials and pharmaceutical group which plays aworld leading role in many fields. DSM has 47 branches in China, including 26production sites. According to Jiang, now manufacturing is transferring fromcoastal areas to the central region; Jingzhou gives prominence to manufacturing,has rich human resources and is highly inclusive. All these have laid the groundworkfor the settlement of DSM in Jingzhou.

Located at Jingzhou Economic &Technological Development Zone, Nenter has built the world's only all-newdevice using chemical and biological technologies to make vitamin E out ofpetrochemical products. Nenter's relevant technology was included as a startupproject under the Recruitment Program of Global Experts and as one of Hubei'stop 10 technology events in 2018. Nenter was also selected as one of Hubei'ssecond hidden champions in segments of pillar industries. To Jiang, humanresources are one of the most important factors: Nenter's stable andhigh-quality talent team is an attraction to DSM. Newly-established Yimante isa strong cooperation between DSM and Nenter. In accordance with DSM's safety,health and environment standards, the joint venture will introduce DSM's advancedproduction concept and environmental standards, to upgrade Nenter's existingvitamin E lines, ensure the sustained supply of quality vitamin E, and improvethe environmental protection and work safety level of Nenter.

Jiang hoped that Yimante would become a worldleading manufacturing base in terms of safety, health and sustainability within3 to 5 years, and start manufacturing more products in Jingzhou.
