The 2nd Hubei Province (Jingzhou) Garden Expo“Shennongjia Theme Day” activity kicks off in exhilarating drum music at 10 amon November 2.

The ShennongjiaBanggu drum performance with heavy local favor makes people feel like theyare time-traveling.

Having a cluster of mountains and high ridges, Shennongjiapossesses a traditional mountain culture, with the mountain song duet aprominent local culture element.

At the event, an ethnic dance Ba Yikou depicting the joy brought about by glutinous rice pictureda scene of harvest celebration, which vividly reflects the Tujia people’slaughing and playing as well as their love and romance in their daily life. Itpushed the event atmosphere to the climax.

The Theme Day event full of music and dancedemonstrated the charm of the Jingzhou Garden Expo Park. The Shennongjia Parkat the Jingzhou Garden Expo Park is designed with the theme of “Shennong Dao& Yingke Yin”. With the park as the medium, three stories – Shennong mademusic instrument out of wood to please his people, the pandas found their wayhome after straying for a millennium, and awakened mystery places awaitingvisitors to explore - are integrated into three main demonstration lines of thepark, not only telling the legend about Shennong but also delivering localwelcome to all guests. 

The mysterious Shennongjia is dyed into a colorfuloil painting by the golden autumn and becomes the heaven for painting lovers.Gao Guofu, deputy head of the Shennongjia Forestry District, said that touristsfrom all over the world are welcome to Shennongjia to sense its unique charm.
