Li Xiaoming andLiu Deyong from Jingzhou won the title.

Li Xiaoming is Director of SecurityAdministration and Dispute Mediation at Xinfeng Community NeighborhoodCommittee, Chengnan High-tech Park of Jingzhou High-tech Industrial DevelopmentZone. He has strengthened communication between people of all ethnic groups, extensivelypublicized the knowledge and policies of ethnic unity, duly addressed appealsof people of all ethnic groups, guided local residents in consciouslymaintaining national security and ethnic unity, and acted as the practitioner,promoter and guardian of ethnic unity by actual deeds. In recent three years,none of the 32 disputes between people of ethnic minorities settled by Lithrough coordination have changed from civil cases into criminal cases.

Liu Deyong is Party Secretary of TujiazuTownship, Xiejiaping, Songzi. He has united people of all ethnic groups torejuvenate rural areas, strengthen infrastructural construction and developcharacteristic industries. Over the five years, he has led his fellowcountrymen in shaking off poverty, and achieved brilliant results in ethnicunity and co-prosperity. Now minority villages have become beautiful villages, andTujiazu Township has become a provincial civilized, eco-friendly and hygienictownship.
