On the morning of January 31, 6 Covid-19 patients in Jingzhou were discharged from the hospital.

The discharged patients include 3 women and 3 men, and the oldest of them is 61. A 37-year-old patient surnamed Li is the first confirmed patient in critical conditions. He went to Wuhan on January 4, exhibited a symptom of fever on January 10 and was then admitted for quarantine by Jingzhou Chest Hospital. Due to complicating asthma and other underlying conditions, the virus progressed quickly in him, his other organs were found to be damaged two days later, and he was diagnosed as a critically ill Covid-19 patient and spent 20 days in the ICU. Two medical expert teams worked shift for 24 hours in the 20 days. Thanks to their painstaking efforts, Li made it through, was tested negative twice and met national requirements for hospital discharge.

On January 27, Jingzhou's first Covid-19 patient was discharged from the hospital.
