At 10 a.m. of February 9, a simple but solemn Party membership oath-taking ceremony was held at the Party member activity room of Jingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Seven new Party member representatives from Hainan medical team aiding Jingzhou and Jingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine took an oath and joined the Party organization, while some Party members from Jingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine together reviewed the oath.

At the ceremony, new Party member representatives, with steady eyes and their right fists held high, joined the Party with the powerful oath. Among the new Party members was Su Riduo, who is a chief inspector from the Laboratory Department of Hainan Western Central Hospital as well as among the first batch of members of the Hainan medical team aiding Hubei province. On the early morning of January 23, after knowing the registration message on aiding Hubei to fight against the epidemic, he immediately submitted the application without any hesitation. At the Jingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, he is mainly responsible for nucleic acid tests of COVID-19, with 40-55 samples tested each day. Due to the short supply of protective suits, Su Riduo and his colleagues would generally work for eight hours in succession as long as they got to work. He wrote in his Party membership application: The battlefield is waiting for us ahead, and the motherland and people are calling us, so I will join this battle and take it as an important chance to exercise my will and conduct, prepare for a tough and protracted battle, and firmly safeguard people's safety and health.

Since the launch of the anti-epidemic fight, as a warrior in the frontline, Cheng Zhifeng, an attending physician at the Jingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has taken charge of the daily diagnosis and treatment and daily life of patients in No. 2 quarantine ward area, and traveled through all wards each day. To make patients more confident, he would carefully communicate with them, interpret medical policies, and conduct psychological consultation for them every time he inspected the wards, enabling them to actively cooperate with the treatment in an optimistic mindset.
