On the afternoon of February 18, a truck loaded with 17.318 tons and 1,786 boxes of noodles worth 201,800 yuan arrived in Jingzhou to support its epidemic fight. These supplies were donated by Shaanxi Shanfu Flour Co., Ltd. (Shanfu).

The whole country has been concerned about the Covid-19 outbreak in the last few days. After learning that noodles are in short supply in Jingzhou on February 13, Xing Zhongfang, Chairman of Shanfu, frequently coordinated the donation issue with the Jingzhou Development and Reform Commission. Meanwhile, he arranged the enterprise to work overtime, and urgently dispatched vehicles to deliver noodles to Jingzhou.

According to the opinion of the municipal Covid-19 prevention and control headquarters, the Red Cross Society of China Jingzhou City is distributing these supplies to Jingzhou-aiding medical teams from other provinces and hospitals designated to treat Covid-19 patients in downtown Jingzhou, frontline sanitation workers, frontline police officers, elderly people living alone, needy families and owners under quarantine in some communities, as well as two impoverished villages (Shuanghe and Sixingyuan) in Songzi.
