When a disaster strikes, help comes from all sides. The Covid-19 outbreak has pulled at the heartstrings of Chinese people. Ge Dong and Zhai Xing, the two brothers from Jingzhou that own two companies in Shenzhen, have been concerned about their hometown. After learning about the shortage of protective supplies in China, they promptly arranged staff of a company's branch in Saudi Arabia to purchase nearly 1.4 million masks locally to support Hubei's epidemic fight. Over 200,000 masks donated by them are on the donation list released by the Red Cross Society of China Jingzhou City on February 14. Now these masks have been donated to hospitals in Jingzhou.

Upon receiving the order from the head office, all the 45 employees of the enterprise in Saudi Arabia stopped their work, and collected medical masks from Jazan, Jubail, Kuwait and Bart of Saudi Arabia . They drove over 2,000 kilometers, and purchased nearly 1.4 million masks with a total weight of 6.4 tons, a volume of some 68 cubic meters which worth 3.1 million yuan from drugstores and medical suppliers within 4 days, including 21,000 3M-N95-1860 masks, 7,400 3M-N95-1805 masks and 1.37 million disposable surgical masks.

When they were delighted and ready to transport these masks back to China, a problem arose. As there was no direct flight from China to Saudi Arabia, these masks were stuck in Jubail and could not be transported back to China.

Now all these masks have arrived in China and been distributed to designated hospitals in Wuhan, Yichang and Jingzhou, including 196,000 disposable surgical masks, 3,000 3M-N95-1806 masks and 5,800 3M-N95-1805 masks for Jingzhou. Besides, Zhai will, in the name of Shenzhen TXC Technology Co., Ltd., donate 1 million yuan to Wuhan via the Red Cross Society of China Shenzhen Branch for Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment in Wuhan.
