Anti-epidemic couple: Go back together when the epidemic is over
Updated: 2020-02-23 08:54:00

Many couples have stuck to the frontline of the fight against Covid-19 in Jingzhou. They, in different uniforms, shared same feelings and beliefs. They are not only couples, but also comrades in arms. Today or on February 22, we visited an anti-epidemic couple at the Second Hospital of Jingzhou (JZSH).

At Covid-19 ward 2 of Huaxia Eye Hospital in JZSH, head nurse Jin Lihua was arranging and coordinating daily nursing work through video surveillance and interphone.

Jin is the deputy head nurse of the Nerve Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, JZSH. Facing the epidemic outbreak, she applied for going to the frontline. On the Lunar New Year's Eve, Jin and her husband Huang Shaofang rushed to respective battlefields after finishing the reunion dinner with their family. Jin moved into the quarantine ward to treat patients. Huang headed to the Office of Market Regulation in People's Dayuan Farmland Administration Area, Jianli County to join epidemic prevention and control.

After finishing a full day of work, Jin that returned to the rest area had time for video talks with her husband and child.

There are many other frontline couples like Jin and Huang at JZSH. They are sacrificing personal interests for the good health of all.

On the afternoon of February 18, Jin, together with another three frontline medical workers, took a solemn oath before the bright red Party flag to become a glorious probationary Party member. They were tempering Party spirit and honoring their mission through selfless devotion.
