Following a special "family Party member conference", Zhang contacted the Babao Town People's Government. Upon confirmation, his nursing center was included in the emergency work reserve catalogue.

Then Zhang and his parents had no time to take care of his baby born a couple of days ago, started to clean the courtyard, and fully disinfected the building, canteen and courtyard. His wife was responsible for taking care of the newborn to relieve the anxiety of the family.

On the early morning of February 5, Zhang was woken up by a ringtone. The relevant government department informed him that they need professional devices from the nursing center and the center will still be taken as a backup quarantine point. At 8 am, the department came to the center. The family of Zhang helped the department staff disassemble 40 professional nursing beds and 100 wood beds, and carry them to the trucks. Then the trucks transported these beds to Chengdong Branch of Songzi People's Hospital.
