At Songzi People's Hospital (SPH), there are two returned doctors on leave heading to the frontline without hesitation to fight the epidemic with their hometown fellows.

Zhao Zhihui, a 38-year-old attending physician, works at Hean Community Health Service Center, Hekou District, Dongying City, Shandong Province. He returned to Yuanshi to visit his relatives and was stuck in Songzi due to the epidemic. At the national call, he signed up for the battle against Covid-19 and joined the Emergency Department of SPH in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Like Zhao, Mao Wei, Deputy Chief of the Medical Affairs Department and Director of the ICU at Nanhai Taicheng Yiyuan Hospital, Foshan, Guangdong Province, gave up reuniting with his family during China's Lunar New Year, and contacted the Songzi Health Bureau at the earliest possible time to join the Department of Infectious Diseases of SPH to fight the epidemic.

A great number of medical workers like Zhao and Mao have taken epidemic prevention and control as the main battlefield for accomplishing their mission, performed their duties as Party members by actual deeds, and run ahead as strong protectors of the people's health. Let's salute warriors in white!
