To reduce the risk of cross infection from citizen visits during the epidemic period, since 242 doctors from 8 hospitals in Jingzhou joined Jingzhou-Guangdong Internet Hospital on March 13, from 8 am to 8 pm every day, attending doctors at the internet hospital has provided counseling services to patients through video and phone, and offered advice based on patients' descriptions. Online consultation is free of charge. A patient may choose whether to pay for a prescription and the hospital will deliver drugs for free upon payment by the patient.

Jingzhou's 8 hospitals that have joined Jingzhou-Guangdong Internet Hospital are Jingzhou Central Hospital, Jingzhou First People's Hospital, the Second Hospital of Jingzhou, Jingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jingzhou Maternity & Child Healthcare Hospital, Jingzhou Third People's Hospital, Jingzhou Chest Hospital and Jingzhou Huimin Hospital.

They have provided online counseling services along with over 1,100 doctors from Guangdong's 15 top hospitals that joined the internet hospital on February 29.
