In the last few days, Jiangling has provided "point-to-point and one-stop" transport services to help migrant workers return for work by means such as charter bus, special train and volunteer car.

At 9 am March 20, with the help of volunteers, 40 migrant workers with packs on backs in Zishi Town, Jiangling County got on two free "point-to-point" buses arranged by the government and headed to Yueyang East Railway Station for trains bound for different destinations.

At 10 am, 10 uniformly-numbered buses with words "Jingling Volunteer Car for Migrant Workers Returning for Work" were ready to depart at the Puji Town People's Government. Migrant workers could take cars with corresponding numbers after checking car information.

Xie is a volunteer at Puji. That day he used his car to take 4 migrant workers to Hunan. The ride saved them 500 yuan.

Since March 18, Puji has informed all villages and households of "point-to-point and one-stop" services through a WeChat group and the "village-to-village" broadcasting system. Besides, it called on cadres and the masses to get into action and use their cars to transport migrant workers on a voluntary basis.

By 5 pm March 20, Jiangling had recruited 301 volunteer cars and 301 volunteers to transport migrant workers back to work. By means such as charter bus, special train, volunteer car and online ride hailing, Jiangling had transported 6,530 migrant workers to Shaoxing and Taizhou of Zhejiang Province, as well as Shenzhen, Zhongshan and other cities of Guangdong Province.
