As the epidemic situation continues to improve, a number of key transportation projects, including the south extension of Shashi-Gong'an Highway, Chibi Yangtze River Highway Bridge, the reconstruction and expansion of Provincial Highway 322, the reconstruction and expansion of National Highway 318 and First-class Riverside Highway, have resumed successively. So far all key transportation projects in Jingzhou have resumed.

Workers were filling the roadbed on the site of the reconstruction and expansion of Provincial Highway 322. The shift leader Mao Guojun told that 40 members of his team had resumed work.

With a full length of 17.836 kilometers and a designed speed of 80km/h, the reconstruction and expansion of Provincial Highway 322, composed of the first-class section and the second-class section, starts from Jinghe Bridge in Shashi District ends at Cenhe interchange of Shashi-Gong'an Highway. 1 large bridge and 5 medium bridges will be built in the project. The first-class section will directly lead to the Jingzhou Civil Airport as the east extension of Fuxing Boulevard; and the second-class section will continue to extend east to Qianjiang along original Provincial Highway 322. With the full resumption of the project, the roadbed filling of the first-class section of Provincial Highway 322 has drawn to an end.

To ensure the smoothness of the project, the Jingzhou Project Department of CCCC Fourth Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. fully resumed work on March 20 with the support of the Jingzhou Transportation Bureau (JTB). Besides, the company has transported workers outside Jingzhou back to work in a point-to-point way. To date all managers and workers of the company have returned to work.

As the epidemic situation continues to improve, JTB has organized workers to return in a point-to-point way at the earlier stage, accelerated the early examination and approval of the project, coordinated the supply of construction materials, contacted for entry of machinery & equipment, implemented enterprise-specific measures and project-specific schemes, and helped enterprises solve difficulties, to ensure the smooth and efficient resumption of key transportation projects. So far all key transportation projects in Jingzhou have resumed.
