With the global spread of Covid-19, all countries are badly in need of medical supplies. While meeting domestic needs, many medical supplies manufacturers in China have exported masks, face shields and other supplies. On April 5, Jingzhou Strong Safety & Development Co., Ltd. (Strong) exported the first batch of masks to overseas markets.

At 3 pm, 350,000 KN95 masks and over 6,000 face shields were being loaded outside Strong's plant. They will be transported to Guangzhou and then to the U.S., Belgium and other countries by sea.

Strong is engaged in the R&D, manufacture and sales of respiratory protection products. Following the outbreak of the epidemic, the company canceled the Lunar New Year holiday, and put all automatic and semi-automatic production equipment into operation. Now it manufactures 150,000 KN95 masks per day to ensure mask supply to most prefecture-level cities in Hubei. Since the outbreak of the global pandemic, it has got orders from over 10 countries, including the U.S., India, as well as EU and Middle East countries.

To increase output, Strong has stepped up labor employment, doubled the number of employees, and built several new intelligent production lines to manufacture badly-needed KN95 masks amid the epidemic. Guided by the provincial commissioner, Strong has transformed from an industrial protective supplies manufacturer into a medical protective supplies manufacturer. Strong's 2,700-square-meter 100,000-level aseptic workshop is under construction. After the workshop is completed, Strong's daily mask output will increase to 700,000.
