The Jingzhou Municipal Bureau ofAgriculture and Rural Affairs and Sinopec Group Jingzhou Company jointly issueda Circular on Guaranteeing the Supply ofOil for Agricultural Machinery to Promote Agricultural Production. Accordingto the notice, a series of new favorable measures, such as prioritized oiling,preferential supply, superior service and free handling, were taken to ensurethe supply of oil for agricultural machinery during spring farming preparation,“three summers” (referred to as summer harvest, summer planting and sowing ofsummer crops) and other key farming seasons.

Since mid-February, while ensuring theepidemic prevention and control, Jingzhou city has opened up its agriculturalmachinery supply market in an orderly manner, stepped up agricultural machinerymaintenance and driver training, and organized the partitioned, hierarchical,classified and time-sharing off-peak operation of agricultural machines andtools in fields. Up to now, almost 280 professional agricultural machinerycooperatives across the city have all resumed work and production, and canarrange agricultural machines and tools to devote to the agriculturalproduction in spring.

In order to ensure the smooth operationof agricultural machinery, the Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture andRural Affairs and Sinopec Jingzhou Company has entered into a strategicpartnership, agreeing to jointly address the periodical supply-demandcontradiction of oil for agricultural machinery, improve their usingefficiency, and reduce their operational costs. The service objects andconditions of the above-mentioned favorable measures include: Individualsengaging in agricultural production and agricultural production and operationorganizations; agricultural machines and tools under management with tractorand combine harvester license plates, which registered via the Oil for HubeiAPP or WeChat Mini Program; machines and tools and other devices engaging inagricultural production and operation, which registered at a Sinopec gasstation nearby with a certificate issued by local rural or agriculturalproduction and operation organizations and agricultural enterprises(agricultural and agricultural machinery cooperatives and family farms);trans-regional operating machines and tools and transport vehicles from outsideJingzhou, which can enjoy the same favorable policies after registering theirtrans-regional operation certificates.

From now on, agricultural machineryowners who are qualified for such favorable policies and put on records canenjoy green channels for oiling of agricultural machinery, the unity betweenmachinery, owners and license plates and preferential oiling service at allSinopec sites in Jingzhou. Meanwhile, agricultural machinery householdsqualified for the favorable policies can enjoy a discount of up to 93% atSinopec’s gas stations across the city during key farming seasons, such as fromMarch 20 to June 30 and from September 1 to November 30.
